Harvard-Westlake (20-2)
The Wolverines improved to No. 12 in the latest SBLive Top 25 national rankings after knocking off former No. 25 McEachern (Georgia) in overtime at the Hoophall Classic over the weekend, but suffered a setback on Wednesday when they were upset 59-54 by undefeated Notre Dame.
That loss was just their second of the season, with the other being a one-point loss against Columbus (Florida), who is currently the No. 2 ranked team in the nation.
Led by senior Trent Perry (No. 42 in ESPN's Class of 2024 rankings), they will look to bounce back on Friday with a big win on the road against Sierra Canyon.
Sierra Canyon (19-1)
The Trailblazers haven't been given nearly as much attention this year after Bronny James graduated and moved on to USC after last season, but they are still one of the best teams in California.
With senior Isaiah Elohim (No. 53 in ESPN's Class of 2024 rankings) leading the way, they have won 14 games in a row and could be primed to hand Harvard-Westlake its second consecutive upset.
