Top Southern California basketball stars from 1/15/24 to 1/20/24

Brannon Martinsen, Mater Dei: Martinsen had 25 points in Saturday's win over Campbell Hall at the State Preview Classic.

Eli Gardner, Damien: Gardner finished with 28 points to help the Spartans beat Lynwood at the State Preview Classic.

McKel Shedrick, Hillcrest: Shedrick had 30 points and four assists in Monday's win over Grand Terrace.

Alex Dupre, Birmingham: Dupre had 33 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in a 65-63 win over Moorpark.

Collin Haugh, Dana Hills: Haugh had 40 points and was 10-10 from the free throw line in Wednesday's win over El Toro.

Vince Capuras, Beaumont: Capuras had 21 points and eight steals in a win over Cajon.

Cody Shen, Torrey Pines: Shen had a career high 31 points in Friday's 67-65 overtime victory against rival La Costa Canyon.

CJ Aldrich, Rancho Buena Vista: Aldrich had 34 points on 11 of 15 shooting and finished with six rebounds and six assists against Canyon Crest.

Dylan Griffin, University City: Griffin had 18 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and three blocks in a win over Coronado.

Lincoln Grogan, Mater Dei Catholic: Grogan had 23 points (9-11) and eight rebounds in a Mesa League win over San Ysidro.

Gianni Bernabe, Mt. Carmel: Bernabe scored 23 points in both games last week, surpassing the 1,000-career point mark in Friday's victory.

Ayla Johnson, Bishop's: Johnson averaged 23 points in two wins last week for the Knights.

Kami Gillis, Escondido Charter: Gillis had two double-doubles last week, helping the White Tigers to wins over Santa Fe Christian and Orange Glen.

Brieana Brown, Francis Parker: Brown finished with 56 points and 49 rebounds across three games last week, recording double-doubles against La Costa Canyon, Pacific Ridge and Canyon.

Grace Trusso, Torrey Pines: Trusso had 18 points, 15 rebounds and four assists in Tuesday's win over Sage Creek.

Mackenzie Nitzel, San Diego: Nitzel had 55 rebounds across three games last week for the Cavers.

Jordyn McMillan, Helix: McMillan had 17 points and 14 rebounds in Tuesday's win over Monte Vista.

Madeleine De Kodia, Aquinas: De Kodia had 15 points, six rebounds, six steals, five assists and three blocks in a win over Pacifica Christian.

Madison Watts, Leuzinger: Watts had 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks in Monday's win over Bonita Vista.

Ryan Bennett, St. Anthony: Bennett averaged 17 points across four games last week and has scored double digits in 20 of 22 games this season.

Jocelyn Pascual, Brentwood: Pascual had 26 points in last week's 64-55 win over Windward.
