Look: Mariah Blake dominates as Westchester beats Hamilton in L.A. City Section semifinals (Highlights)

For the third season in a row, Blake took over and led Westchester to semifinals victory

TORRANCE, Calif. - Reigning CIF-LACS girls basketball champion Westchester earned its third straight trip to the Open Division finals on Saturday with a 66-58 victory over Hamilton.

Westchester senior Mariah Blake led both sides with 23 points, 16 rebounds, and eight steals to go with three assists. Serenity Johnson and Savannah Myles (four assists, three steals) scored 14 points each, and Reigne Waugh racked up eight points, seven steals, and six rebounds. After winning the first of four games on the day at El Camino College, the Lady Comets will face Birmingham on Feb. 24 in the finals.

Jade Fort led Hamilton with 20 points to go with four assists, and Kinidi Curl scored 12 with eight steals and five assists. Tatiana Cruz had nine points on a trio of three-pointers, and Brooklyn Harris and Elsa Miller each scored seven points as well.
