Marcus Robinson, Myles Jones and Gavin Sykes combined to score 54 points as the Crusaders win their third straight and 22nd SJS overall

The winning never gets old. 

That was the sentiment revealed on the faces and reactions of the Modesto Christian boys basketball team that captured its third straight Sac-Joaquin Section Division 1 championship Wednesday with a 68-63 victory over league rival Lincoln-Stockton at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. 

The trio of Marcus Robinson, Myles Jones and Gavin Sykes combined to score all but 14 of Modesto Christian's points as the Crusaders improved to 27-5 while capturing the program's 22nd section crown. 

Robinson, a 6-foot-4 transfer from Valley Christian-San Jose, made 10 of 11 shots and scored a game-high 21 points. 

Donez Lindsey had 18 points for Lincoln (26-6), which lost for the third time this year to Modesto Christian. Teammates Quentin Thompson and Anthony Moore contributed 16 and 13 points, respectively.
