Teague's near triple-double helps the Wildcats to their second CIF State championship in school history
SACRAMENTO - Oakland High led wire-to-wire on Friday morning, capturing their second CIF State basketball title, and the first since beating McFarland in 2019 for the Division 3 championship.
The Wildcats led Montgomery 32-27 at halftime and withstood a late run from the Aztecs, winning 56-50.

Leading the way was point guard Daijha Teague. The senior finished the game with 15 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists in her final high school game.
At the postgame press conference, Teague discussed her performance in the championship game as well as her interests beyond basketball.
