Top 10 California high school baseball rankings: LA City Section (3/18/2024)

Birmingham Charter moves into No. 1 after taking down El Camino Real; North Hollywood cracks Top 10 after a win over Sylmar

The latest Top 10 high school baseball rankings in the LA City Section as of March 18, 2024.

1. Birmingham (7-3)

The Patriots move up to No. 1 after defeating El Camino Real 6-5 last week.

2. El Camino Real (5-4)

ECR has lost four of its last five games.

3. Granada Hills (7-4)

The Highlanders are 2-1 in the West Valley League after wins over Cleveland and Taft.

4. Cleveland (7-3)

Big week for the Cavs, games against Birmingham and El Camino Real on Wednesday and Friday.

5. Garfield (8-2)

The Bulldogs begin Eastern League play this week against South East.

6. Narbonne (2-9)

The Gauchos have a win over El Camino Real and could show it belongs with its two-game series with Carson this week.

7. Carson (5-3)

Colts can move up in the rankings with a good showing against Narbonne this week.

8. Verdugo Hills (6-3)

The Dons beat Marshall 11-0.

9. Palisades (5-3)

The Dolphins beat Fairfax in league play twice last week, 11-1 and 11-0, respectively.

10. North Hollywood (3-6)

The Huskies beat previously-ranked Sylmar 2-1 in eight innings, then beat Kennedy 7-2 in 10 innings. North Hollywood earns a spot in the Top 10, but can they stay there?
