Mercy Miller is SBLive's 2024 CIF Southern Section boys basketball Offensive Player of the Year

Mercy Miller, who scored 68 points in one game, is SBLive's Offensive Player of the Year for 2024.

SBLive has announced its 2023-24 All-CIF Southern Section boys basketball team and yearly awards, including the Player of the Year.

Mercy Miller simply couldn't be stopped. Defenses could only hope to slow him down.

Miller was the most gifted scorer in California this year, and arguably the most gifted scorer in the country. He poured in 68 points in one game against Oakwood on Dec. 11.

The Houston commit averaged 29.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. He shot 51% from the field this season en route to helping Notre Dame win a CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship, which marked the program's first CIF crown in 31 years.

Miller scored 30 or more points 16 times this season.
