Hillsborough & Pinellas Week 9 Roundup & Top performances

We go over the final scores and top performances from Week 9 in Hillsborough & Pinellas counties

The final two weeks of the regular season throughout the state of Florida are upon us, as the Week 8 slate came and went with a lot of excitement throughout the Tampa Bay region.

Three games that really highlighted the week between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties was Jesuit-Tampa Bay Tech, Clearwater Central Catholic-Carrollwood Day School and Lakewood-Largo.

The top game was the Tigers being to slightly upset the Titans, who were coming off a tumultuous week in which they had to forfeit a game due to an ineligible player after a big win over Wharton. Jesuit behind a solid performance from freshman quarterback Will Griffin was able to pickup the win.

Clearwater Central Catholic was able to flex its proverbial muscle over Carrollwood Day School, in a game that was never really close from the outset. With over 260 rushing yards, the Marauders controlled the ground game. Lakewood upended previously undefeated Largo, in a contest that featured a lot of tenacious hits. The Spartans picked up what might’ve been their biggest win of 2022.

We’ve got the rest of the results from Week 9 and top performances down below so check them out as we head into Week 10.
