Tye Hylton, 3-star offensive lineman, commits to Florida State over UCF and USF

Oviedo (Florida) three-star offensive lineman Tye Hylton made his commitment on Friday afternoon to the Seminoles

OVIEDO, FLORIDA- In back to back days, Florida State has landed on a couple of the top offensive lineman remaining in the Class of 2024.

This time, they were able to edge out a couple of in-state rivals to nab another key offensive tackle to an already impressive list of commitments.

Oviedo (Florida) senior offensive tackle Tye Hylton announced Friday afternoon via Twitter that he is heading north to the Big Bend region and committing to the Florida State Seminoles. The offensive lineman is a 3-star rated Class of 2024 prospect according to 247Sports and chose the Seminoles over UCF and USF.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive tackle was the key cog for a Lions team that reached the region semifinal round of the Class 3M playoffs last season. Hylton helped pave the way for over 4,000 yards of offense.
