Jaime Ffrench, 5-star wide receiver, commits to Alabama over Florida State and Ohio State

Mandarin (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench made his commitment on Saturday afternoon to the Crimson Tide

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA- One of the rising stars of the 2022 season out of Northeast Florida was Mandarin High School wide receiver Jaime Ffrench.

Helping the Mustangs reach the Class 4M playoffs, Ffrench made a name for himself along the way and heads into 2023 as one of the Sunshine State’s top receivers. He made his college decision on Saturday to head over to a place where wide receivers make a name for themselves on the college level.

Ffrench announced Saturday afternoon via Twitter that he is heading to Alabama and committing to play for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. The wide receiver is a 5-star rated Class of 2025 prospect according to 247Sports and chose the Crimson Tide over Florida State and Ohio State.

Ffrench as a freshman had less than 10 catches for just over 100 yards in 2021, but his sophomore campaign would be where he flourished. As a sophomore, the wide receiver hauled in 44 passes for 671 yards and five touchdowns in 2022.
