Michaelee Harris out as Miami Northwestern head coach after one season

Harris went 4-6 in his lone season with the Bulls

It's one and done for Michaelee Harris at Miami Northwestern.

According to Prep Redzone's Larry Blustein, Harris is no longer the head football coach of the Bulls after finishing 4-6 this past 2023 season. Harris played at Northwestern from 2006-2009 and was a part of the program's 2007 Class 6A state championship team.

Per sources close to the situation at the time of Harris' hiring back in the spring, the Bulls wanted to hire a head coach that had experience with the program previously.

Harris certainly fit the bill as he played with former Northwestern/current NFL'er Teddy Bridgewater before playing football in the college ranks for Akron and Louisville, respectively. Harris after his playing days served as an assistant at Illinois and Miami (FL).

Now the Bulls are in search once again for their second head coach in as many years after ousting Max Edwards after the 2022 season and tabbing Harris for 2023.
