Vote: Who should be SBLive's Florida Volleyball Player of the Year?
Here are the candidates for the Florida High School Volleyball Player of the Year for 2023. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Saturday, December 31st at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Sunday, January 1st, 2024.

Here are the nominations:
Lydia Chinchar, OH, Carrollwood Day: The freshman outside hitter led the Patriots to a Class 3A state championship in impressive fashion. Chinchar notched a state-leading 573 kills, 37 aces, 67 blocks and 266 digs.
Fallon Stewart, OH, Winter Park: Stewart, a Cincinatti commitment, had one of the best all around seasons of any player throughout the entire state. The Wildcat tallied 559 kills, 66 aces, 23 blocks, 262 digs and 27 assists.
Maggie Dostic, OH, Plant: The 6-foot-1 outside hitter was a key cog in leading the Plant Panthers to the Class 7A state championship this past season. Dostic notched 366 kills, 29 aces, 30 blocks, 207 digs and 12 assists.
Caleigh Peddie, OH, Liberty County: The senior outside hitter helped lead the Bulldogs to the Final Four of Class 1A with her incredible season. Peddie tallied 528 kills, 40 aces, 37 blocks and 388 digs. Quite the season for Peddie.
Aisha Keric, RS, Barron Collier: The 6-foot-1 senior had a very strong season for the Cougars, helping them reach the Class 5A state championship game before falling to Middleburg. Keric tallied 440 kills, 46 aces, 46 blocks and 525 digs.
Alex Liggeri, S, Kissimmee Osceola: Another player out of the Central Florida region that had a sensational 2023 campaign was Liggeri for the Kowboys. The senior setter had 1,023 assist for the second season in a row, 170 digs and 61 aces.
Olivia Znotens, OH, Riverdale: The sophomore outside hitter had a superb season for the 17-11 Raiders. Znotens collected 534 kills, 41 aces, 27 blocks and 284 digs.
Milena Lopez, S, Seacrest Country Day: The junior setter had herself a season to remember in helping Seacrest Country Day to in the Class 2A state championship. Lopez netted 1,035 assists, 114 kills, 148 digs and 54 blocks.
Sarah Watson, MB, Newberry: The senior middleback was a menace at the net for opposing teams, with Watson tallying 170 blocks on the season. Watson also added 157 kills and 38 digs this fall.
Sydney Van Cott, OH, St. Thomas Aquinas: The senior outside hitter was the glue that helped lead the Raiders to the Class 6A state championship win over Viera. Van Cott this season tallied a team-high 315 kills, 135 digs and 30 blocks.
Summer Kohler, OH, Venice: Named one of the top outside hitters in the country heading into the season, Kohler did not disappoint for the 22-7 Indians. Kohler ended the season with 356 kills for Venice.
