Here are this week's nominations: 

D’Marius Rucker, Football, Lakeland: The running back had a monster night in the Dreadnaughts’ 77-48 win over Lake Minneola, rushing for 278 yards on 16 carries and scoring two touchdowns. 

Jackson Hughes, Football, Lake Minneola: Hughes was on the losing side of the wild shootout with Lakeland, but went out firing. The Hawks’ quarterback completed 23-of-44 passes for 451 yards and four touchdowns in the loss. 

Jershaun Newton, Football, Clearwater Central Catholic: The dual-threat quarterback had another strong game en route to making a run back to states, throwing for 273 yards, two touchdowns and also rushed for 146 and a score in a 45-41 win over Carrollwood Day. 

CJ Ingram, Football, Hawthorne: Ingram made it look easy in the Hornets’ 34-16 defeat of Williston in a Class 1R, Region 4 final. The quarterback completed 11-of-18 passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns. 

Jackson Copeland, Football, Mandarin: Copeland was a tackling machine in the Mustangs’ victory over the Seminoles, tallying a team-high 21 tackles and four for a loss. 

Peyton Gay, Football, Bozeman: The Bucks’ signal caller completed 19-of-35 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-14 Class 1R region final win over Holmes County. 

Nigel Nelson, Football, Pensacola Catholic: The running back took most of his carries from the Wildcat formation and rushed for 250 yards in a 17-10 win over FSU High in a Class 2S region final. 

Jadyn Glasser, Football, Venice: The Indians' quarterback had another tremendous playoff performance, throwing for 352 yards, four touchdowns and running in another score in a 49-23 rout of Sarasota Riverview in a Class 4S, Region 4 final. 

Carson Beach, Football, Cardinal Mooney: The Cougars' running back had another huge night, leading them to a 42-0 win over Victory Christian Academy with 143 yards and three touchdowns. 

JC Mirasola, Football, Plant: Mirasola didn't have any incompletions in Plant's gritty 20-14 win over Sumner, as the quarterback went 8-for-8 for 175 yards and a touchdown. Also rushed for 65 yards on 10 attempts.

Kelby Tyre Jr., Football, Dunbar: Tyre Jr. had arguably the top play of the entire postseason when he took a walk-off kickoff back nearly 100 yards to pay dirt, leading the Tigers to a thrilling 12-10 win over Naples in a Class 3S, Region 4 final. 

Nasir Williams, Boys Basketball, Gadsden County: Williams notched a double-double in the Jaguars’ 70-61 win over St. John Paul II, scoring 21 points and grabbing 24 rebounds. 

Isaiah Campbell-Finch, Boys Basketball, Tampa Catholic: The junior point guard poured it in during a 76-71 win over Hileah Educational Academy. Campbell-Finch scored a game-high 32 points in the victory. 

Jaycob Joseph, Boys Basketball, North Miami Beach: Joseph led the way in North Miami Beach’s 74-42 win over North Bay Haven Academy, scoring a game-high 30 points. 

Brady Knutson, Boys Basketball, Estero: The combo guard started the regular season off with a bang as Knutson scored 28 points in Estero’s 67-60 victory over East Lee County. 

Ryan Rodriguez, Boys Basketball, Port St. Lucie: The senior guard had a strong night in the Jaguars’ 77-62 victory over Westwood. Rodriguez scored a game-high 37 points in the win. 

Preston Linville, Boys Basketball, Wiregrass Ranch: The senior guard opened up the regular season with a strong performance in the Bulls’ 70-65 win over East Lake, scoring a game-high 24 points. 

Charlie Woods, Boys Golf, Benjamin: You see the last name and the word golf, which are synonymous with one another. Charlie, son of golf legend Tiger Woods, is just a freshman and shot a 78, 76 and helped lead the Buccaneers to a Class 1A state championship just over a week ago.
