The 2023-24 Florida high school winter soccer season is underway and with it comes the SBLive Florida Soccer Player of the Week poll. A new poll will be available for casting ballots each Wednesday throughout the course of the season. There will be one mixed poll for both boys and girls. Voting will end on Sunday, December 3. Winners will be announced in each week’s new poll.

Check out these 10 candidates from our first poll of the season and vote as often as you like.

Will Hall, Fort Myers Canterbury, Defender

The senior scored two goals in a 5-0 win against South Fort Myers and added one goal and one assist in a 2-0 boys soccer win against Cape Coral this past week.

Tomas Sciarra, Gulliver Prep, Striker

The senior scored five points – one goal and three assists – in a 6-1 boys soccer win against Palmer Trinity and scored a goal in a 2-0 win against LaSalle this past week.

Chase Carroll, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, Forward

The junior scored five points – two goals and one assist – in a 3-1 boys soccer win against Stoneman Douglas this past week.

Amir Taylor, Clermont East Ridge, Forward

The senior scored three goals for defending the 7A state champions during a 4-0 boys soccer win against Lake Minneola this past week.

Ellie Cox, Lakeland Christian, Forward

The sophomore scored seven points – three goals and one assist – during a 7-0 girls soccer win for the defending 2A state champions against Winter Haven and added two assists in a 2-1 win against Lakeland this past week.

Estefania Gonzalez, Montverde Academy, Midfielder

The senior scored seven points – three goals and one assist – during a 4-0 girls soccer win against Lake Highland Prep. Montverde is the defending 3A state champions.

Clair McEirny, Orlando Bishop Moore, Forward

The sophomore scored a goal against Windermere Prep, the game’s only goal against Berkeley Prep and a third goal against Ponte Vedra this past week.

Jordyn Norwood, Plantation American Heritage, Striker

The junior scored five points – two goals and one assist – during a 4-0 girls soccer win against Barron Collier this past week.

Campbell Taylor, Land O' Lakes Sunlake, Forward

The senior scored five goals with one assist during a 6-0 girls soccer win against Riverdale and one goal during 2-1 against Venice this past week.

Brooke Gosse, Bartram Trail, Striker

The junior scored three goals during a 6-0 girls soccer win against Navarre and one goal in a 2-0 win against Tocoi this past week.
