Quarterback Cedrick Bailey threw four first-half touchdown passes to lead Chaminade-Madonna to a 56-0 victory over Clearwater Central Catholic on Thursday afternoon in the Florida (FHSAA) Class 1M state football championship game in Tallahassee.
The Lions, who finished 14-0, claimed back-to-back state championships and their sixth title in the last eight years.
Just thirty seconds into the game, Chaminade-Madonna opened up the scoring as Bailey connected with Ohio State commit Jeremiah Smith on a 50-yard touchdown strike to put the Lions up 7-0 and they never trailed.
