Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Florida High School Athlete of the Week for Dec. 18-Dec. 23 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, December 30th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are the nominations: 

Robert Guishard, Boys Basketball, Franklin Academy: Want to see a stat line? Check this one out from the sophomore forward/wing. Guishard in last week's 70-28 victory over Horeb Christian did literally everything, scoring 22 points, collecting 23 rebounds and blocking 12 shots. A triple-double of a different fashion. 

Cooper Flagg, Boys Basketball, Montverde Academy: The Duke commitment showed out in the City of Palms Classic last week. Flagg had 20 points in a 95-55 victory against Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.), and 21 points and 14 rebounds for a double and four blocks and three assists in a 73-59 victory against Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) in the championship game.

Toni Bryant, Boys Basketball, North Tampa Christian: In a 80-49 victory over Barron Collier, Bryant notched the elusive triple-double line. Bryant scored 20 points, pulled down 14 rebounds and swatted 11 shots. 

Kade Manley, Boys Basketball, Mainland: One of the top freshmen showed out recently in a holiday tournament final. Manley continued his strong play with 23 points and five rebounds in an 86-77 victory against Tampa Catholic in the championship game of The First Academy Invitational.

Alex Jasquith, Boys Basketball, Pensacola Booker T. Washington: Jasquith has been playing very well out of the Florida Panhandle. The Wildcats' guard was sensational in a 85-73 victory over Fort Walton Beach, scoring a game-high 30 points. 

Caleb Williams, Boys Basketball, Ribault: It’s becoming a weekly occurrence for Williams that he has a big game for Ribault. The senior went off in the Trojans' 87-66 win over Lake Wales, scoring 34 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field. 

Santiago Henriquez, Boys Basketball, Miami Palmetto: The junior point guard was just about unstoppable in the Panthers' 102-61 win over Homestead. Henriquez led the way with a game-high 40 points on 13-of-26 shooting from the field. 

Kas Williams, Boys Basketball, Somerset Academy South: Williams has been a rebounding machine down in South Florida. The 6-foot-9 forward/center notched a double-double in a 63-38 win over MAST Academy, scoring 18 points, grabbing 26 rebounds and blocking seven shots. 

Vincent Shavers, Football, Miami Central: The Nebraska commitment showed everyone why he will be a handle on the next level in the Dade-Broward All-Star Game. Shavers took home defensive MVP honors to help lead Dade to a 35-21 win. 

Josiah Taylor, Football, Sebring: The linebacker was making plays all over the field in the FACA North-South All-Star Game. Taylor took home Defensive MVP honors in helping the South take home a 28-20 win. 

Jaloni Cambridge, Girls Basketball, Montverde Academy: The senior point guard went off in a 63-52 win over Hebron Christian. Cambridge scored a team-high 32 points, grabbing nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals. 

Tierra Coleman, Girls Basketball, Wekiva: The guard/forward turned in a solid night scoring 27 points, grabbing four rebounds and seven steals in a 70-30 victory against Lake Howell. 

Vanessa Squire, Girls Basketball, Lake Wales: The junior was on fire from the field in the Highlanders’ 76-30 win over Bartow. Squire scored 35 points on 15-of-21 shooting, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out three assists.
