Three Florida high school football stars named 2023 SBLive All-Americans

IMG's Jordan Seaton, Chaminade-Madonna's Jeremiah Smith and St. Thomas Aquinas' Kedrick Burley honored among nation's best

Florida is home to some of the top high school football programs and players in the nation. That point was validated once again on Friday when three Florida stars were named 2023 SBLive Football All-American's.

Among those honored as the best-of-the-best in the nation were IMG Academy offensive lineman Jordan Seaton, Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and St. Thomas Aquinas edge rusher.

Seaton stands 6-foot-5, 290 pounds and sports a wingspan that stretches 6 feet, 10 inches and rated is the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle and signed to play college football for Coach Prime at the University of Colorado. 

Smith, rated as the nation’s No. 1 overall  prospect, had a stellar senior season. He hauled in 90 catches for 1,389 yards and 19 touchdowns to help nationally ranked Chaminade-Madonna to a 14-0 season and FHSAA 1M state championship. Smith had at least one touchdown in every game, and caught 13 passes for 183 yards in the state title win. He also caught a touchdown pass at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Burley recorded 25 sacks and 30 tackles in helping St. Thomas Aquinas win their fifth consecutive state championship. He stuffed a play at the goal line in the state title game against Homestead, which helped secure the Raiders' state championship victory. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound edge rusher remains uncommitted.
