Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Florida High School Softball Coach of the Week of Feb. 26-Mar. 2 as nominated by SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Mar. 11th.

Here are the nominees:

Kevin Freeman, Marathon: The Dolphins rolled in their two games from last week under the watch of Freeman. Marathon won contests over Lourdes Academy and Ransom Everglades by a combined 23-2.

Willie Viruet, Doral Academy: You knew sooner or later Viruet would make it on this list. The manager has the Firebirds cruising, off to a 4-0 start and out-scoring teams 29-3.

Steve Constantino, Venice: After starting the season 0-2, the Indians have bounced back with three straight victories. Constantino has led the club to wins over Charlotte, Lemon Bay and North Port.

Kahley Armstrong, Montverde Academy: The Eagles have proven to be one of the state’s top clubs and they did that last week in a 2-1 win over East Lake in the Montverde Academy Classic. Armstrong has this team playing great softball.

Chelsea McGehee, Gulf Breeze: One of the top teams on the Florida Panhandle right now has been the Dolphins. McGehee led the club last week to wins over Fort Walton Beach and Navarre.
