Bekkem Kritza, Penn State commit, transfers back to Miami Central: Report

Last season at The Woodlands, Barker joined the Highlanders but only played in three games. The tailback held numerous offers from schools like Auburn, Houston, TCU and Wisconsin before committing to the Nittany Lions.

It’s another big get for the Rockets, who are looking to get themselves back to the top of the South Florida pedestal and winning state championships. Miami Central exited in the region final round in Class 2M in 2023 after winning it all in 2022.

The 4-star rated running back, who played at Beebe (Arkansas) his freshman/sophomore seasons, by 247Sports currently holds offers as well from Power Five schools like Florida State, Miami (FL), Missouri, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, SMU and UCF.

Barker will get to team up with quarterback Bekkem Kritza, who is also a Penn State commitment.
