MOUNT ZION PREP AT IMG ACADEMY

4TH QUARTER

- INTERCEPTION! IMG picks off a pass at their own two and the offense goes into victory formation. This one is over as the Ascendars roll to a 57-0 victory.

- TURNOVER! Mt. Zion recovers a fumble at the IMG 34. The Warriors have a golden opportunity to come away with some points. 2:46 remains on the clock.

- IMG is being very deliberate and letting the clock run. We have a water break with 3:28 left.

- Mt. Zion, which only has one first down tonight, punts it back to IMG. The kick is downed at the IMG 36.

3RD QUARTER

- The kickoff goes into the end zone for a touchback and that brings an end to the third quarter.

- TOUCHDOWN! Jayden Wade, who already has a touchdown pass, scores on a 56-yard run. The IMG freshmen are having a night. Instead of attempting an extra-point, IMG takes a knee. It's 57-0.

- Mt. Zion does not convert a first down and punts it back to IMG. The Ascendars are called for a false start so the will have the ball, 1st and 15 from their own 44, with less than 4 minutes left in the third quarter.

- The Ascenders, who won the pregame coin toss and deferred, chose to kickoff to start the second half instead of receiving the football.

- Mt. Zion is set get the kickoff from IMG to start the third quarter. The third and fourth quarters will also be reduced to eight minutes and running clock will be in place for the remainder of the game.

HALFTIME

2ND QUARTER

- TOUCHDOWN! Donovan Johnson, a Michigan commit, gets into the act with a 2-yard run. The Ascendars now lead, 51-0 and that takes us to halftime.

- News Flash! the Ascenders have gone five minutes of the second quarter without a score, but they are driving at the Mt. Zion two.

1ST QUARTER

- TOUCHDOWN! McFarland scores his fourth TD of the first quarter and has third TD reception from a third different quarterback, as Jake Coniglio does the honors from 50 yards out. 44-0.

- With 1:06 to go in the opening quarter, IMG has the ball at midfield after a punt. The entire game has been played on Mount Zion's half of the field.

- Barring something unusual we will have a running clock at the start of the second half. In addition, by agreement of the coaches, the second quarter will be reduced from 12 minutes to just eight.

- TOUCHDOWN! After a 16-yard run by Wade, Tranard scores his second TD of the night. It's 37-0 with 3:02 to play in the first.

- FUMBLE RECOVERY! After the first down, the Warriors cough up the ball and IMG recovers.

- Mt. Zion moves the ball out to the 30 for its first first down of the night.

- TOUCHDOWN! Freshman quarterback Jayden Wade takes over behind and center and his first snap goes for a 40-yard TD pass to, you guessed it, Eric McFarland. The Ascenders can do whatever they please as they lead 30-0 and we have not yet played 7 minutes.

- With 5:21 left in the first quarter, IMG gets the ball back on another punt. It's 1st and 10 from the Mt. Zion 40. Water break time out.

- TOUCHDOWN! IMG gets in the end zone again. Tranard Roberts goes in from three yards out. It's 23-0.

- Hawkins finds Adonis Moise for a first down at the Mt. Zion 12.

- Ty Hawkins runs for 20 more.

- Tranard Roberts runs for 16 on first down. The Ascendars are in Mt. Zion territory.

- IMG takes over 1st and 10 from their own 40.

- Lewis under constant pressure throws two incompletions and then is run out of bounds to force another punt by the Warriors.

- TOUCHDOWN! After the free kick, Eric McFarland, a freshman, scores his second TD of the night on a 52-yard reception from Ty Hawkins. Kick is good. It's 16-0 with 9:52 left in the quarter.

- SAFETY! After a touchback on the kickoff, Mt. Zion cannot generate any offense on the first two plays, before QB Amaan Lewis II scrambles into his own end zone where he is sacked by Alex McPherson. The Ascenders will get a free kick with a 9-0 lead.

- Penn State coach James Franklin is at the game. He landed in a helicopter just before kickoff.

- TOUCHDOWN! Eric Mcfarland fields the punt and takes it 42-yards to the house. IMG is up 7-0 with 10:57 to play in the first quarter.

- The Warriors, who have lost all three of their games and have score just six points this season, go three and out on their first possession. They will punt from their own one.

- Mt. Zion has received the kickoff and has the ball at their own 12 to open the game.
