THREE TO SEE

Josh Butler, running back

An All-CIF 2nd Team selection as a junior, will
try and surpass his totals from last season that saw him run for 1,138 yards
and 17 touchdowns, averaging 9.3 yards per carry.

Vance Jefferson, athlete

One of the best athletes in the county, Jefferson saw time
at running back, receiver, kick returner, and safety in 2018. He’s picked up an
early offer from Arizona State.

Andrew Johnson, lineman

The 2nd ranked wrestler in the state at the 285-pound weight level is expected to start on both sides of the line.

OUTLOOK

The Titans rushed for over 232 yards per game in 2018. Expect much of the same in 2019 as they bring back four of five offensive linemen, and their three leading rushers.

Andrew Wiesley, who threw for over 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns last season at Westview HS, has transferred in and is expected to take over the quarterback duties.

Poway graduated four of their top five tacklers from a season ago, and will look for their defense to grow up quickly against several quality non-league teams.
