Saddleridge fire in Southern California forces high school football games to be postponed, cancelled (updates)

Here is a list of football games that have been postponed or cancelled due to the Saddleridge Fire.

A wildfire that started near Sylmar Thursday night has quickly burned nearly 8,000 acres and forced thousands of evacuations in Los Angeles County.

Several high school athletic events -- including multiple football games scheduled for Friday night -- have been cancelled or postponed due to the Saddleridge fire. The games listed below will not be played Friday or on their originally scheduled dates. If there is a makeup date or cancellation, it is listed. We will keep this list updated.

Viewpoint vs. Campbell Hall - Rescheduled for Saturday, 7 p.m. at Calabasas

Venice vs. Palisades - Rescheduled for Monday, 4 p.m.

Chaminade vs. Bishop Amat - Rescheduled for Saturday, 7 p.m.

Oak Park vs. Brentwood - Rescheduled for Saturday, noon

Saugus vs. Golden Valley - Rescheduled for Saturday, 7 p.m. at Canyon High School
