Javion Belle, Pickens County football: Belle, a junior, fired six touchdown passes as the Tornadoes blew past Decatur Heritage for a 48-28 win. He finished with 316 yards passing. 

Gabe Broadus, Faith Academy football: The senior cornerback pulled down four interceptions in the Rams’ 31-6 victory against Demopolis. 

Miles Brush, Chelsea boys cross country: The junior had a winning time of 15:21.41 at the 6A state meet. 

Evan Cofield, Handley football: The Tigers senior quarterback had three touchdown passes in a 42-13 win over Montevallo.

Walker Cole, Oak Mountain boys cross country: The senior recorded a 15:13.66 to finish in first place at the 7A state meet. It was the fastest time at the 65th state championships. 

Woodrow Dean, Tallassee boys cross country: Dean, a junior, ran to victory at the 5A state meet in 15:33.83.

Armani Diamond, Blount football: The senior had 128 yards on five catches and scored on a 75-yard punt return in the Leopards’ 41-28 win over Eufaula. 

Jaquel Fells Jr., Pinson Valley football: The senior had four rushes for 101 yards and a touchdown, four catches for 66 yards and a 54-yard punt return for a score in the Indians’ 48-16 rout of Shades Valley.

Kelston Fikes, Leroy football: Fikes, a senior, led the Bears to a 26-16 win over Geneva County by rushing for 267 yards and three touchdowns. 

Katie Giles, Glencoe girls cross country: Giles is the 3A state champion. The sophomore’s winning time was 18:57.09.

Braden Green, Northside football: The sophomore quarterback accounted for four touchdowns (three rushing, one passing), including a one-yard sneak late in the fourth quarter as the Rams rallied for a 28-21 win over Madison Academy. He finished with 127 yards rushing and 104 yards passing.

Karson Green, Saraland football: The senior accounted for four touchdowns — three passing, one rushing — in guiding the Spartans to a 31-0 shutout of Lee. 

RJ Hamilton, Hoover football: The sophomore wide receiver racked up 171 yards and two touchdowns on five catches — including the game-winner — as the Buccaneers rallied past Oak Mountain for a 24-21 win.

Griffin Hanson, Mars Hill Bible football: Hanson — a 5-foot-9, 155-pound freshman — passed for 241 yards and five touchdowns in the Panthers’ 56-21 victory against Westbrook Christian. He recorded an interception on defense. 

Conner Harrell, Thompson football: The junior quarterback was 14 of 22 for 175 yards and four touchdowns in the Warriors’ 42-16 victory against Hewitt-Trussville. He added 100 yards rushing.

Tucker Kilcrease, Brantley football: Kilcrease, the Bulldogs’ junior quarterback, passed for 221 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 70 yards and another score in a 48-6 win over Keith. 

Brayden Kyle, Decatur Heritage football: The junior quarterback accounted for four touchdowns — two passing, two rushing — in the Eagles’ 48-28 loss to Pickens County.

Sangie Lincoln-Velez, Auburn girls cross country: The junior won the 7A state title in 18:29.97. 

Tae Meadows, Handley football: The junior rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Tigers cruise past Montevallo for a 42-13 victory.

Presley Miles, Saint James girls cross country: The senior won her third consecutive state title, this one coming in 4A with a time of 19:11.75.

Jake Moore, White Plains boys cross country: The senior crossed the finish line in 16:38.60, winning the 4A state title by more than 17 seconds.

Conner Patterson, Providence Christian School boys cross country: Patterson is a junior who turned in a time of 16:28.63 to win the 3A state title.

Zyquez Perryman, Pleasant Grove football: The senior racked up 212 yards and a touchdown on an efficient 19-of-24 passing and rushed for 21 yards and another score to lead the Spartans to a 42-21 win over Guntersville.

Daquan Pittman, Brantley football: The junior starred at receiver (six catches, 88 yards, touchdown) and safety (43-yard interception-return touchdown) in the Bulldogs’ 48-6 victory against Keith. 

Elizabeth Robertson, Mountain Brook girls cross country: The senior’s time of 18:43.15 gave her a comfortable victory at the 6A state meet.

Ike Rowell, Fyffe football: The senior rushed for 160 yards and four touchdowns and fired two touchdown passes as the Red Devils won their 42nd in a row, a 42-13 rout of Wellborn.

Avery Seaton, Madison Academy football: The senior quarterback was 13 of 18 for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 28-21 loss to Northside. He added a rushing touchdown. 

Emily Shumock, Faith Academy girls cross country: Shumock, a freshman, won the 5A championship with a time of 19:24.89.

Evan Smith, Oak Mountain football: The junior did all he could in the Eagles’ 24-21 loss to Hoover, rushing for 210 yards and all three of his team’s touchdowns.

Conner Warhurst, Russellville football: The sophomore rushed for two scores and blocked a punt as the Golden Tigers defeated Leeds, 35-14.
