Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Alabama high school athlete of the week for Nov. 23-29 as nominated by coaches and fans. Ricavious Dozier, Abbeville football: In the Yellowjackets’ 60-45 win over Leroy, the senior rushed for 194 yards and touchdowns of 51, 48 and 12 yards.

TJ “Bull” Dudley, Montgomery Catholic football: The junior rushed for two touchdowns and racked up 10 tackles at linebacker to lead the Knights’ defense in a 35-28 overtime win against Montgomery Academy.

Kyle Dukes, Fyffe football: The junior made the play of the game in the Red Devils’ 14-6 win over Piedmont, intercepting a pass and returning it 26 yards for a touchdown.

Martavious Glanton, Abbeville football: Glanton, a senior, accounted for five touchdowns — three passing, two rushing — as the Yellowjackets fought off Leroy for a 60-45 victory.

Javonte Graves-Billips, St. Paul’s Episcopal football: The senior rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 26 yards and another touchdown, scoring all three of the Saints’ touchdowns in their 21-20 win over Faith Academy. His final touchdown came on a 10-yard run in overtime.

Peyton Higgins, Mars Hill football: The senior had another big game with 145 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, helping the Panthers knock out Spring Garden with a 32-14 victory.

Avery Malone, Leroy football: The senior did all he could in the Bears’ 60-45 loss to Abbeville, passing for 321 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for another score.

Justus McDaniel, Mars Hill football: McDaniel is a senior running back who rushed 12 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ 32-14 win over Spring Garden.

Tae Meadows, Handley football: Meadows, a junior, rushed for 224 yards and four touchdowns to power the Tigers to a 34-13 victory against American Christian Academy.

Zyquez Perryman, Pleasant Grove football: The senior was an efficient 15 of 17 for 214 yards and two touchdowns in the Spartans’ 35-14 rout of Ramsay.

Michael Sharpe, Pinson Valley football: Sharpe, a junior, carried eight times for 160 yards — including touchdowns of 92 and 39 yards — in the Indians’ 27-10 win against Mountain Brook.

Joshua Williams, Linden football: The senior scored a long touchdown on offense and defense — a 70-yard run and an 88-yard interception return — to fuel the Patriots’ 22-7 win over Brantley.
