Garfield High School running back Avery Morrow announced his commitment to the University of Nevada on Sunday, selecting the Mountain West school on the heels of his official visit.

Morrow, a three-star running back according to 247 Sports, announced his commitment on Twitter Sunday while on an official visit at the school.

It was his one and only visit.

Morrow has led Garfield’s offensive production as a big, physical running back (6-foot-1, 205 pounds) in a competitive Metro League Mountain division that features Eastside Catholic and O’Dea, which met in the semifinals last season.
