Max Taylor, wide receiver
Ex-running back gives pass-catching corps an explosive inside threat
OUTLOOK
When Hill came on board as the Bearcats' new coach last season, the former Elma quarterback installed a spread offense that really hit its top gear in late October.
If the Bearcats keep that momentum going right out of the gate, they very well could be Tumwater's biggest challenger for the 2A EvCo championship.
Their offensive nucleus -- Johnson at quarterback, Camoza at running back and Gaines at tight end/wide receiver -- should match up well with any defense.
The key could be Gaines, a standout baseball player who battled an illness last spring that jeopardized his senior season. He has been cleared, and his positional versatility -- he could play some Wildcat quarterback -- should lead to big outputs.
