THREE TO SEE

Casey Jeske, quarterback

All-league selection at quarterback as a sophomore. Dual threat athlete.

Kenneth Jordan, running back/defensive back

Honorable mention all-league running back as a junior. Great vision, downhill runner, per coach David Chambless.

Danny Rupp, linebacker/safety

All-league honorable mention at defensive back as a sophomore. Team's most versatile player on defense.

OUTLOOK

Rogers (Spokane) has a year under its belt under head coach David Chambless and returns key weapons from its squad last year. But most importantly, the Pirates return experience.

Will it be enough to outperform its 2018 campaign, where the Pirates finished third of four 3A teams in the Greater Spokane League?

Many of the Pirates' juniors either started or logged significant minutes last season, and with their low turnout, will be tasked with shouldering a significant responsibility.

With senior running back and DB Kenneth Jordan returning, along with linebacker Danny Rupp, and all-league defensive back and quarterback Casey Jeske, coming back, the Pirates have ample weapons at the skill positions and will look to new faces to step into increased roles.
