THREE TO SEE
Jacob Evans, offensive lineman
One of two returning starters to the offensive line, great base.
Jake Grant, tight end / linebacker
Good frame with the potential to be a big-time target on offense this fall.
Bryan Henderson, offensive and defensive lineman
Joins Evans as a returning starter on the O-line with a solid build and good power.
OUTLOOK
The Spartans had a tough year in 2018, going 2-8 and finishing last in their division. This year, they lose all of their all-league talent from that crew, which will make things even harder.
This will be a big rebuilding year for Stanwood, as they’ll hope to build upon their underclassmen talent through the season.
The program hasn’t seen a winning season since 2006, but coach Eric Keizer will hope to bring this team back as a perennial league contender in the years to come.
