OUTLOOK

The Titans don’t mind being the tough kid on the block -- and under-appreciated defending divisional champion either.

They know after losing their starting offensive backfield, including all-purpose star Billy Vann, many followers figure they will take a step back to mid-pack.

But with their front-line players on both sides -- a jumbo-athletic offensive line of Agbo, Lui and Jones, and five returning all-4A NPSL performers from the league’s top defense -- Beamer is instead thinking of how to advance further than the district round of the playoffs.

Remember this name: Brycen Dillworth. He is the school’s best basketball player and a standout triple jumper. Coaches are confident he will be an impact dual-threat signal caller who can break off a big run at any time.

And Watson, Tiumalu and Haver will do just fine by committee filling in the rushing production of Vann.
