Caleb Shawen rushed for 181 yards as Mead High School built a 27-7 lead and held on for a wild 34-28 victory over Mt. Spokane in the "Battle of the Bell" Friday, Sept. 27 at Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane.

In a down-to-the-wire finish, Mt. Spokane was stopped inches short of the goal line as time expired. Watch the highlights:
