Here are SBLive’s Top 20 Arkansas high school football rankings for the week of Oct. 12.

Our statewide football rankings, which span all classifications, are released every Monday throughout the 2020 high school football season. The rankings are compiled by SBLive reporters Connor Morrissette, Bodie DeSilva and Lance Smith.

SBLIVE POWER RANKINGS: ARKANSAS TOP 20

Oct. 12, 2020

1. Bryant (5-0)

Last week’s ranking: No. 1

Bryant beat Little Rock Catholic 31-3 two weeks ago. Austin Ledbetter had four touchdown passes in the game.

2. North Little Rock (5-0)

Last week’s ranking: No. 2

NLR beat No. 6 Conway 39-37 two weeks ago. Charging Wildcats quarterback Kareame Cotton ran for the winning one-yard touchdown with 7:48 to play. The defense held on from there.

3. Bentonville (6-0)

Last week’s ranking: No. 3

Bentonville beat Rogers Heritage 52-0 last week. Sophomore running back Josh Ficklin scored three touchdowns in the win.

4. Pulaski Academy (6-0)

Last week’s ranking: No. 4

Pulaski Academy defeated White Hall 49-28.

5. Greenwood (6-0)

Last week’s ranking: No. 5

Greenwood beat Siloam Springs 49-10. Hunter Wilkinson had 125 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the first half.

6. Conway (3-2)

Last week’s ranking: 8

Conway beat No. 8 Cabot 52-49. Ben Weese’s 59-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Bohanon put Conway ahead 44-42 late and the Wampus Cats held on.

7. Bentonville West (Centerton) (4-2)

Last week’s ranking: No. 7

Bentonville West defeated Rogers 34-31 in overtime. Luke Miller scored on a three-yard run in overtime to win the game.

8. Cabot (5-1)

Last week’s ranking: No. 6

Cabot lost to No. 6 Conway 52-49. The Panthers led 42-38 in the fourth quarter but could not hold on.

9. Benton (4-2)

Last week’s ranking: 18

Benton moves up nine spots after beating No. 15 Parkview 30-20. Garrett Brown’s 25-yard pass to Jordan Parham provided the winning touchdown for Benton.

10. Lake Hamilton (5-0)

Last week’s ranking: 10

Lake Hamilton beat Russellville 43-42 in overtime. Tevin Woodley rushed for 276 yards and four touchdowns.

11. Fort Smith Northside (4-1)

Last week's ranking: NR

Fort Smith Northside enters the Top 20 following a 21-6 win over Little Rock Catholic.

12. LR Christian (4-1)

Last week’s ranking: 12

LR Christian beat White Hall 38-14 two weeks ago. Senior quarterback Colin Cooper rushed for three scores and threw for one in the win.

13. Wynne (6-0)

Last week’s ranking: 13

Wynne defeated Valley View 28-14. Carl Washington scored on a 36-yard run.

14. Jonesboro (3-2)

Last week’s ranking: 14

The Hurricanes survived an upset bid from Pine Bluff, winning 34-33. Jonesboro has won two in a row.

15. Parkview (3-1)

Last week’s ranking: No. 9

Parkview lost to No. 9 Benton 30-20. James Jointer got Parkview to within three points on a 23-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but it was not enough for the Patriots.

16. Arkadelphia (3-0)

Last week’s ranking: 16

Arkadelphia did not play in the past two weeks because of COVID-19. The Badgers are supposed to take on Harmony Grove this week.

17. Harrison (4-1)

Last week’s ranking: 19

Harrison beat Greenbrier 33-29. The Goblins scored 20 second-half points to seal the victory.

18. Nashville (4-1)

Last week’s ranking: NR

Nashville beat No. 19 Robinson 36-35. Ty Gordon scored the final two touchdowns for Nashville and the winning two-point conversion.

19. Robinson (3-3)

Last week’s ranking: 11

Robinson lost to No. 18 Nashville 36-35. Senators tailback James Jordan rushed for two touchdowns.

20. Arkansas (Texarkana) (4-0)

Last week’s ranking: NR

The Razorbacks enter the Top 20 following a 21-14 win over Lakeside and a 4-0 start. Interceptions by Graydon Martin and Naijah Taylor set up Texarkana to come back from a 14-7 halftime deficit.

Dropped out: Maumelle and Magnola

Moved in: Nashville and Arkansas (Texarkana)

Other teams we’re watching: Maumelle, Harding Academy, Booneville, Watson-Chapel, Fordyce, Rogers, Fayetteville, Stuttgart, McGehee, Searcy, and Catholic (Little Rock)
