Zion Ragins, 4-star wide receiver, commits to Oklahoma over Florida State and Georgia

Jones County (Georgia) four-star wide receiver Zion Ragins made his commitment on Tuesday afternoon to the Sooners

GRAY, GEORGIA- Many commitments throughout the Peach State lately had been heading down to the Sunshine State as of late. 

On Tuesday afternoon, one of Georgia’s fastest, more diminutive wide receivers decided he will be heading to the Midwest. 

Jones County (Georgia) senior wide receiver Zion Ragins announced Tuesday afternoon via Twitter that he is heading to Oklahoma and committing to the Sooners. The wide receiver is a 4-star rated Class of 2024 prospect according to 247Sports and chose the Sooners over Florida State and Georgia.

Ragins has been timed in the 100-meter with a time of 10.40 and in the 200-meter in 21.29. The speedy playmaker brings an explosive feel to the Greyhounds offense. 

In 2022, Ragins hauled in 46 passes for 557 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for an additional 161 yards and scored twice.
