Julian Lewis, top 2026 quarterback in nation, commits to USC
CARROLLTON, GEORGIA — One of the top quarterbacks in the country will be heading to Lincoln Riley’s USC Trojans and the excitement behind the program just before the open the season on Saturday.
Carrollton quarterback Julian Lewis, arguably one of the top quarterbacks in the country regardless of classification, announced via On3, that he’s committed to the USC Trojans.
Lewis narrowed his search down to eight schools in July: Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Ohio State, LSU, Oregon and Texas A&M.
Lewis is coming off an impressive freshman season where he completed 283 of 432 passes for 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns.
He's a big reason Carrollton entered the fall high school season just outside the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national football rankings.
And he helped Carrollton build an early lead and hold its own in a thrilling nationally televised opening week loss to Ohio State-committed quarterback Air Noland and nationally ranked Langston Hughes
The Trojans are expected to compete once again for the Class 7A title as they return Lewis and a slew of offensive starters, including 4-star rated tight end Caleb Odom.
Carrollton is coming off a 39-34 loss to Langston Hughes this past weekend at the Corky Kell Classic in Atlanta.
