Ethan Barbour, 4-star rated tight end, commits to Georgia over Alabama, Auburn & Texas

Alpharetta (Georgia) four-star tight end Ethan Barbour made his commitment on Friday afternoon to the Bulldogs

ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA- The Georgia Bulldogs continued its dominance in recruiting talent in its own backyard. 

On Friday afternoon, Kirby Smart’s bunch added another top flight tight end to his slew of commitments in the 2025 class. 

Alpharetta junior Ethan Barbour tight end announced Friday afternoon that he was committing to Georgia over Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina and Texas. Barbour is rated a 4-star Class of 2025 prospect according to 247Sports. 

Barbour, who also plays basketball, really had his breakout season last year as a sophomore. The tight end hauled in 51 passes for 714 yards and 12 touchdowns. This season for the Raiders, Barbour has caught 11 passes for 227 yards and five touchdowns.
