NORCROSS, GEORGIA – Buford star defensive end Eddrick Houston collapsed suddenly Friday night, shortly after the Wolves' thrilling 28-25 victory over Norcross in the Georgia 7A high school football state playoffs.

The Ohio State commit went down in the midst of the postgame celebration and was attended to for several minutes by team trainers as his teammates and the remaining crowd looked on in stunned silence.

After several minutes the senior was finally able to stand before being quickly whisked away on a cart.

No further information on his condition or availability for next week is known at this time.
