The Match-up:

For Walton and Milton, it has been a tale of two seasons for the two Class 7A powers. The Raiders have been front-runners all season and have garnered national attention for their terrific season that has seen them go a perfect 14-0 after defeating Camden County in the semifinals Friday night.

The Eagles on the other hand had a relatively slow start to the season before finding a groove and ripping off nine straight victories, including Friday night’s 45-35 win over Grayson in the semifinals.

Heading into the state championship game on Dec. 13 inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Walton will without question be the favorite to win. Having arguably the best offense in the state behind star quarterback Jeremy Hecklinski, the Raiders are going to be extremely tough to beat.
