Here are 11 candidates for your voting consideration

It's time once again to take a deep dive into the Georgia High School Boys Basketball scene to select our Player of the Week. We seek your assistance and ask you to look at this week's candidates and vote for the candidate you find most deserving.

As such, we have 10 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Georgia High School Boys Basketball player of the Week award from February 5-10, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 18th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Caleb Wilson, Holy Innocents

Wilson had a near quadruple-double and showed why he is one of the best in his class. He finished with 23 points, 20 rebounds, 10 blocks and nine rebounds.

Ace Bailey, McEachern

Bailey had another night flashing his greatness. He finished with 26 points, 19 rebounds, seven blocks and five assists.

Chasz Holmes, Parkview

Holmes balled out against a very good Grayson squad. He scored 30 points on seven made threes and added in five assists and three steals.

Alexander Banks Jr., Temple

Banks Jr. had himself a big night in a win over Heard County with a 30-point double-double.

Malik Hinton, Stone Mountain

Hinton scored 31 points on Senior Night and helped his team win its last regular season game. He finishes with 1,291 career points.

Kamonta Durden, Washington County

Durden’s 22 points, 14 rebounds and five assists was huge in the win over Glenn Hills.

Lawrence Sanford, Cherokee

In the game after reaching 1,000 career points, Sanford balled out against Wheeler with 27 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

CJ Brown, Kell

Brown couldn’t be stopped whatsoever in the win over Greater Atlanta. He finished with a double-double of 35 points and 10 rebounds and also had five assists and three steals.

Rajah Morgan, South Cobb

Morgan did it all for South Cobb with 33 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.

Blake Wilson, Hebron Christian

Wilson’s 21-point, 10 rebound double-double was a key factor in Hebron’s win over Franklin County. He was locked in on the defensive side too with three blocks and two steals.

Anthony Gause, Milton

Gause displayed some elite point guard play in a win over Denmark. He finished with 20 points and 12 assists and stole six passes.
