Adkins is well accomplished in his last couple of years with the Hornets, as they finished winning the Class 1R state championship in 2022 and 2023. Now, the former athletic director will aim to lead the Mustangs on a similar road in Georgia’s AAAAA classification.

Last season, Ola finished the 2023 campaign with a record of 7-4, losing to Harris County 42-20 in the postseason. The Mustangs only other losses came against Dutchtown, Jones County and Warner Robins.
