Dustin Adkins tabbed as Ola (Georgia) head football coach
From helping a Florida rural school to winning back-to-back state championships to taking over a football program in Georgia is the new journey Dustin Adkins is embarking on.
Ola High School (Georgia) announced on Monday that they’re tabbing Hawthorne Middle/High School athletic director Dustin Adkins as the football program’s next head coach.
Adkins is well accomplished in his last couple of years with the Hornets, as they finished winning the Class 1R state championship in 2022 and 2023. Now, the former athletic director will aim to lead the Mustangs on a similar road in Georgia’s AAAAA classification.
Last season, Ola finished the 2023 campaign with a record of 7-4, losing to Harris County 42-20 in the postseason. The Mustangs only other losses came against Dutchtown, Jones County and Warner Robins.
