Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia High School Girls Basketball Coach of the Week of Feb. 5-Feb. 10 as nominated SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Feb. 18th.

Here are the nominees: 

Sean Turley, Rockdale County: The Bulldogs have started to play their best as the season draws to a close. Turley has his girls winners of seven straight victories and currently boasting a 19-6 record through 25 games. 

Kena Lindsey, Brentwood: Considered one of the top teams in the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA), Lindsey has the War Eagles soaring into the home stretch. Lindsey has led the team to five straight wins. 

Sarah Jones, Richmond Hill: It was a short week for the Wildcats, but they made the most of it. Jones led her squad to a 2-0 week, with victories over Brunswick and Valdosta, respectively. 

Nichelle Chapman, Josey: The Eagles are undoubtedly one of the hottest teams heading into the playoffs and Chapman has her girls playing at a high level. Chapman has led Josey to a stellar 23-2 record and an impressive 14-game winning streak. 

Sherri Harris, Sumter County: There's no questioning the kind of coaching job Harris has done all season long for the Panthers. Harris has led the club to a 18-7 mark and have pulled off six straight victories.
