Vote: Who is the Georgia Boys Basketball Player of the Week (2/19/2024)?
It's time once again to take a deep dive into the Georgia High School Boys Basketball scene to select our Player of the Week. We seek your assistance and ask you to look at this week's candidates and vote for the candidate you find most deserving.
As such, we have 10 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Georgia High School Boys Basketball player of the Week award from February 12-17, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 25th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.
Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are this week's nominees:
Caleb Wilson, Holy Innocents
Wilson, who has won this award for two consecutive weeks, led his team to a Region 6-4A Championship with 21 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks. He had a near triple-double in the semifinals with 18 points, 19 rebounds, eight assists, and four blocks.
Christian McAllister, Fayette County
McAllister showed out in a blowout win over Troup County to help Fayette County three-peat as region champs. He finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.
Keith Gillespie, Fayette County
Gillespie is now a four-time region champ with Fayette County. He finished the title game with 29 points with seven made threes, three assists and two steals.
Ramon Soyoye, Chapel Hill
Soyoye dominated yet another game with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and six blocks in a win over Maynard Jackson.
Lawrence Sanford, Cherokee
Cherokee got a big win over Osborne with a big thanks to Sanford who finished with 28 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
Diop, Walker
Diop led Walker to a win over Drew Charter as he finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks.
Brendan Tousignaut, Sequoyah
Tousignaut had himself a night in a win over Allatoona. He finished with 30 points, six rebounds, six steals, and three blocks.
Chase Allen, Model
Allen went off for 30 points, 12 boards, and five assists to lock in a region championship for Model.
Derron Lindsey, Mays
Lindsey scored a team-high 32 points and followed that with six boards, three assists, and two steals in a big overtime win over Maynard Jackson.
Jaylen Colon, Kell
Not only did he have 15 points and four steals, but he dished out 15 assists to help his team take down Chattahoochee in their region championship.
