Top 25 Georgia baseball rankings (3/14/2024)

Break out the bats and gloves as high school baseball season is upon us across the country, especially in the Peach State. One of the tops when it comes to high level baseball, Georgia features several teams that are among the nation’s best around.

We start off the 2024 baseball season with our first top 25 rankings. Starting off at the top spot is the Parkview Panthers followed by Lowndes. Check out our power rankings and let us know what you think.


Power 25 Baseball

Find the complete breakdown of the SBLive Sports Georgia Baseball Power 25:    

1. Parkview (10-2)

The Panthers are one win away from sweeping Grayson this week. 

2. Lowndes (12-2) 

Since losing to Trinity Christian Academy (Florida), the Vikings have Chiles, Lincoln and Richmond Hill. 

3. Harlem (14-0)

The Bulldogs are undefeated this season and have scored 90 runs and only allowed 27. 

4. The King’s Academy (12-0) 

The Knights have scored 10 runs in nine games this season. 

5. Houston County (11-3)

The Bears have won four games in a row, with a sweep of Northside. 

6. Cherokee Bluff (10-2)

The Bears have scored 94 runs, with five games scoring 10-plus. 

7. Etowah (10-3)

One of AAAAAA’s top teams has been pouring in the runs, scoring 100 runs. 

8. Brookwood (11-3)

The Broncos have won six games in a row since March 2nd.

9. Cartersville (9-3)

Coming off a three-game losing streak to Bob Jones, Hernando and Pickens. 

10. Calvary Christian (9-1)

Since February 23, the Knights have won eight straight games. It’s been an impressive run. 

11. First Presbyterian Day (11-0)

Through 11 games, the Vikings have scored 88 runs and yielded 29. 

12. North Cobb Christian (10-1)

Of the Eagles’ 10 wins, six of them have been shutout victories. 

13. Tifton County (10-1)

Another team that’s been hot since late February is the Blue Devils, winners of eight straight. 

14. Villa Rica (13-0)

The Wildcats have only allowed 14 runs all season long. 

15. Starr’s Mill (8-1) 

The Panthers have won three straight since losing to Newnan on February 28th. 

16. Newnan (13-3)

The team’s only three losses have come against Carrollton, Starr’s Mill and Woodward Academy. 

17. Coffee (11-3)

Despite losing two of their last seven games, the Trojans remain an impressive bunch. 

18. LaGrange (10-3) 

The Grangers picked up a solid 3-2 extra innings win over Buford earlier in the month. 

19. Habersham Central (11-1)

There’s not many teams hotter right now than the Raiders. Habersham Central has reeled off eight straight wins. 

20. Prince Avenue Christian (9-0)

The Warriors have only played in two games that were decided by two runs or less. 

21. North Paulding (9-4) 

The Wolfpack have been a little up and down this season, but do own a win over North Cobb Christian. 

22. Wayne County (12-3)

After starting the season 1-2, the Yellow Jackets have gone 11-1 since. 

23. Ola (12-2-1)

The Mustangs have been pretty impressive, with their only two losses coming against Cherokee and Starr’s Mill. 

24. Grayson (6-4)

Yes, the Rams have lost a couple in a row but it has come at the hands of the top team on this list (Parkview).

25. Glynn Academy (9-4)

The Terrors have been one of South Georgia’s top clubs other than Lowndes this season.
