Each week, SBLive will rank the top 10 teams across the state of Idaho, regardless of classification. Here’s a look at how those teams fared in games played in Week 10 of the 2022 high school football season.

1. MERIDIAN 9-0 (5A) has first-round bye

5A SIC champion will host the Lewiston-Middleton winner in next week's state quarterfinals..

2. ROCKY MOUNTAIN 9-1 (5A) defeats Kuna, 51-10

Grizzlies didn't mind one bit having an extra game in 5A playoffs. Takes 42 seconds for defense to score - and QB Tegan Sweaney-led offense was on point in rout.

3. BISHOP KELLY 10-0 (4A) defeats Canyon Ridge, 70-0

Top-ranked Knights score in all three phases, including twice on special teams (Peter Minnaert's 85-yard kickoff return, Noah Bornes' 59-yard punt return).

4. HIGHLAND 6-3 (5A) has first-round bye

5A High Country champion will host the Nampa-Mountain View winner in next week's state quarterfinals.

5. RIGBY 8-2 (5A) defeats Owyhee, 49-14

Maybe QB Luke Flowers likes this playoff thing. In his first career start, he passes for 312 yards and five touchdowns, and adds another rushing score. .

6. EAGLE (5A) 6-3 has first-round bye

5A SIC runner-up will host the Rigby-Owyhee winner in next week's state quarterfinals.

7. SUGAR-SALEM 8-0 (3A) has first-round bye

3A Mountain Rivers champion will host lowest-seeded first-round survivor in next week's state quarterfinals.

8. MINICO 9-1 (4A) defeats Vallivue, 20-14 (OT)

Avenging last year's state-opening loss to Falcons wasn't easy as RB Jafeth Bendele sends Spartans to 4A quarterfinals with 3-yard game-winning touchdown in overtime.

9. POST FALLS 7-2 (5A) has first-round bye

5A Inland Empire champion will host the Rocky Mountain-Kuna winner in next week's state quarterfinals..

10. NAMPA 7-3 (5A) loses to Mountain View, 44-0

It was all Mavericks, from start to finish, as QB Dawson Wahl totals 256 yards of offense and three touchdowns, including 199 passing yards.
