NAMPA, Idaho - Kendal Clark scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Melba to a 55-46 win over Soda Springs in the Idaho (IDHSAA) Class 2A girls basketball state championship game on Saturday.
With the game tied at 33-33 entering the fourth quarter, Melba outscored Soda Springs 22-13 over the final eight minutes to secure the state title.
Hallie Arnold scored 11 points for Melba and Brooklyn Dayley added 10.
Taylor Billman led Soda Springs with 16 points and Jinettie Garbett scored 13.
