Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 25-Sept. 30 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Oct. 9th. IDAHO NOMINEES

Kofi Appiah, Mullan football: Totaled 212 rushing yards and five touchdowns in a 54-32 win over Lakeside.

Noah Burnham, Eagle football: Piled up 199 yards and four touchdowns on just 15 carries in a 40-21 win over second-ranked Boise.

Dillon Fine, Homedale football: Only missed on two passes for 270 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-0 shutout of Payette.

Paxti Franks, Middleton football: Galloped for 138 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-20 win over Timberline.

Trevor Garus, Capital boys golf: Became the first golfer in 21 years to win three consecutive Class 5A District III championships with a 3-under 68 at Purple Sage Golf Course.

Lachlan May, Coeur d’Alene boys cross country: Came within a whisker of putting down a sub 15-minute time - 15:00.4 - at the "Battle for the 509" meet. It is the fastest 5K time in the state.

Henry Nelson, Mountain View football: Threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns in his first career varsity start in a 52-15 win over Kuna.

Audrey Orme, Boise girls cross country: Recorded the fastest time in the state at 17:44 in her fourth place finish at the national Nike Annual Twilight XC Invitational.

Kyler Robinson, Oakley football: Racked up 398 passing yards and seven total touchdowns, including five through the air, and even an interception on defense in a 60-38 win over Lighthouse Christian.

Brecken Searle, Rigby football: Hauled in seven catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Skyline.
