Congratulations to Pocatello's Kellie Christensen for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athletes of the Week for Oct. 9-Oct. 14!

In a third consecutive victory over Preston, this time by a 5-0 count to capture a third consecutive district championship, the junior tallied a season-high in goals (two) and assists (two) as the Thunder grabbed the No. 1 seed to the state tournament. Christensen scored at least in a goal in all three victories over the Indians.

Christensen collected 95.5% of the overall vote.

Cache Beus, Skyview football: Accounted for five touchdowns, including four scores on the ground. He nearly had 200 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in a 48-14 win over Ridgevue.

Josiah Bosco, Sugar-Salem football: Made four catches for 134 yards and a touchdown in a 41-14 win over Teton.

Carson Christensen, Pocatello football: Racked up 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on just three rushing attempts in a 49-6 win over Preston.

Gage Crow, Lewis-County football: Piled up 350 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 34 carries in a 38-36 victory over Deary.

Davis Harsin, Eagle football: Completed 17-of-24 passes for 258 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-21 win over Borah.

Kenzie Hill, Bishop Kelly girls soccer: Netted two goals in a 5-2 win to give the Knights’ their 15th consecutive district championship - and 37th win in a row in conference play.

Cole Jones, Meridian football: Hauled in five catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in a 55-14 win over Capital.

Mallory Kelsey, Kimberly girls volleyball: Recorded a double-double of 16 kills and 16 digs in a straight set win over Buhl in the first round of districts.

Austin Lattimer, Kuna football: Tallied 308 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 42 carries in a 47-44 upset over Boise.
