Congratulations to Sandpoint's Lilliana Brinkmeier for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athletes of the Week for Oct. 16-Oct. 21!

The fourth-seeded Bulldogs had quite a fun through the Class 4A bracket, upending No. 1 seed in the state semifinals before tangling with the second-seeded Knights in the finals. And Brinkmeier - the 2022 Inland Empire player of the year and first-teamer again this fall as a junior - led the way with 14 saves, including one crucial swat-away in the final minute to preserve the team's 2-1 victory at Brothers Field in Caldwell for the school's ninth IHSAA title.

Christensen collected 97.9% of the overall vote.
