IDAHO NOMINEES

Thomas Heusevedlt, Teton football: Recorded passing, running and receiving touchdowns to go with 14 catches for 130 yards in a 41-28 state quarterfinal win over Buhl.

Zeke Martinez, Meridian football: Completed 21-of-25 for 241 yards while running for a touchdown and the game-winning two-point conversion in a 24-23 state quarterfinal win over Mountain View.

Makenda Mamola, Lakeland girls swimming: Set classification records in her state title wins in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.17) and the 500 freestyle (5:07.6).

Peter Minnaert, Bishop Kelly football: Piled up 175 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in a 28-7 quarterfinal win against Emmett.

Amani Morel, Skyline football: Amassed 165 yards and five touchdowns on 15 carries in a 44-20 state quarterfinal win over Twin Falls.

Jackson Riddle, Highland football: Racked up a season-high 203 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard run, in a 28-10 state quarterfinal win over Owyhee.

Sadie Schaffer, Skyview girls swimming: Brought home a pair of state championships in the 100 freestyle (53.45) and the 200 individual medley (2:12.14).

Malyn “Tillie” Sobek, Lake City girls swimming: Captured three gold medals in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.35), 500 freestyle (5:17.23) and the 200 relay (1:41.26) to anchor the Timberwolves to a third consecutive state championship.

Shae Stratton, Bishop Kelly boys swimming: Won four gold medals in the 100-yard backstroke (49.90), 200 individual medley (1:54.63), 200 medley relay (1:37.76) and 400 freestyle (3:13.74) to lead the Knights to a fourth consecutive team title.

Hunter Taylor, Kendrick football: Wide receiver tallied three touchdowns and 186 all-purpose yards, including a 70-yard punt return for a score in a 90-0 rout of Dietrich.
