Congratulations to Lake City guard Macy Murphey for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athletes of the Week for Dec. 25-Dec. 30!

Few in Washington knew much about Lake City girls basketball. But they found out quickly about the Timberwolves, who went on to win the "Top of the Peak" tournament in Snohomish. Murphey led he team's 3-point shooing barrage in the finals against Class 1A champion Nooksack Valley (WA), sinking a game-high four 3-pointers for a team-high 12 points in a 55-48 victory, handing the Pioneers their first defeat.

Murphey collected 99.5% of the overall vote.
