IDAHO NOMINEES

Taren Bateman, Bonners Ferry boys basketball: Hit seven 3-pointers and scored 36 points in a 72-59 win over Lakeside.

Brooklyn Brennan, Post Falls girls basketball: Tallied 25 points, five assists and three steals in a 51-41 win over Lewiston.

Paige Cofer, Eagle girls basketball: Netted 25 points in a 63-62 double-overtime win over No. 4 Rocky Mountain.

Carson Exferd, Nampa boys wrestling: The Wisconsin commit edged Century’s Kolter Burton, an Oklahoma State commit, 3-2, in the 138-pound final to win his second Rollie Lane Invitational title.

CJ Latta, Minico girls basketball: Scored more points than the entire opposing team - 39 points - in a 65-33 win over Burley.

Abby Lusk, Pocatello girls basketball: Notched a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds in a 71-37 rout of Preston.

Matthew Martino, Bishop Kelly boys wrestling: Claimed his third consecutive Rollie Lane Invitational championship with a first-round pin over Joseph Downing, of Redmond (OR.), in the 145-pound final.

Emmett Palan, Camas County boys basketball: Totaled 31 points to lead the Mushers in knocking off previously unbeaten Garden Valley, 78-61.

Jadon Skellenger, Bishop Kelly boys wrestling: Placed fourth at 160 pounds at the nationally-renowned Doc Buchanan Invitational in Clovis (CA.).

Shay Shippen, Skyline girls basketball: Bagged a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds in 63-43 win over Blackfoot while also setting the program’s career assist record. Also had 26 points, 11 rebounds and five assists later in the week in 65-58 win over Hillcrest.
