IDAHO NOMINEES
Broden Anthony, Kimberly boys basketball: Tallied 29 points to lead the third-ranked Bulldogs to a 73-40 shellacking of Mountain Home for their eighth consecutive win.
Karlie Banks, Sandpoint girls basketball: Scored 33 points, including 21 in the second half, in a 53-50 win over Lakeland.
Kambree Barber, Rigby girls basketball: Notched a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 79-36 win over Thunder Ridge.
Brinley Cannon, Shelley girls basketball: Tallied a game-high 26 points, including the game-winning jumper with 20 seconds remaining, to keep the top-ranked Russets’ undefeated with a 58-57 win over Blackfoot.
Brooklyn Dayley, Melba girls basketball: Racked up 26 points, seven assists and three steals to eclipse 1,000 career points in a 60-46 win over No. 3 Cole Valley Christian.
Avery Howell, Boise girls basketball: Recorded a double-double of 37 points on 70% shooting from the field, including 5-of-9 from 3-point range, and 10 rebounds in a 64-50 win over Owyhee.
Mack Mauger, Blackfoot boys wrestling: The 126-pound senior claimed his fourth consecutive Tiger-Grizz Invitational championship.
Gage Ontiveros, Pocatello boys basketball: Logged a game-high 30 points on 14-of-15 shooting to go with five rebounds, three assists and a pair of blocks in an 80-57 win over rival Highland.
Ashler Williams, Bonners Ferry boys basketball: Netted 25 of his game-high 30 points in the first half during an 84-45 win over Timberlake.
Kase Wynott, Lapwai boys basketball: Ten days after setting a new career-high with 57 points in a big triple-double against Logos, the Utah State-bound guard was even better against Genesee - a state-record 68 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.
